A group of members assembled at Harewood, where a rapid assessment of the number of vehicles and available car parking at the Harewood bridge location which had been our target was hastily overturned in favour of Arthington Viaduct.
This was a location that none of those assembled other than Janine knew or had visited, so it was with some trepidation that we set off the 2 miles.
We arrived a few minutes later and all agreed it was a wise choice with the viaduct bathed in early evening light, the Wharfe flowing swiftly below, and lots of compositions to choose from. In some ways it might have been preferable to remain at the Viaduct longer. We needed more time to explore the area further, but perhaps another trip – the setting sun across the Yorkshire landscape was calling, and after only an hour at the viaduct we travelled the short distance to hike up to Almscliffe Crag and set up to watch a ‘watery sun’ develop into a pleasant (though not the spectacular) sunset we had hoped for.
A few of the shots captured below shows what a worthwhile session it was, hope to see more members on the next trip

Going along with John I thought I would try to make this image "Olde Worldy"
